I noticed this morning that my first freelance client had looked at my LinkedIn profile recently. Curious to see what he had done with his site since we worked together, I googled his company, clicked through...and saw the site I built for him in 2004.
Holy flashback, Batman!
This cutting-edge piece of web history features a tableless CSS layout and...wait for it...you can click on thumbnails to see a larger image RIGHT ON THE SAME PAGE.
In all seriousness, it was neat to see something that I had made so long ago still out there and pretty much holding together. It was also a nice reminder of the person who trusted me with not just developing, but also planning and designing his business's website, even though I really did have any proof that I could actually do it.
Thanks, Tom! :)
